Liverpool Evaluates Curtis Jones Future as New Manager Iraola Plans Transfers

Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones is at a crossroads following the appointment of Andoni Iraola as manager. After 228 appearances, 22 goals and 25 assists, Jones has been out of favour under former boss Arne Slot and linked with a move to Inter Milan. Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano reported that Inter are willing to pay around €20 million, while Liverpool value him at more than €30 million, leaving a valuation gap.

Iraola is also considering a large sale to fund an £80 million purchase of Alex Scott, the Bournemouth midfielder described as a “photocopy” of Jones. The club may also look to cash in on World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister, who has attracted interest from Real Madrid. These potential moves are part of Liverpool’s strategy to reshape the midfield under the new coach.
