Liverpool eye Monaco winger Maghnes Akliouche as cheaper option to PSG’s Bradley Barcola
Liverpool are expanding their search for a new right‑winger after Mohamed Salah’s departure. The club have made an initial approach for AS Monaco’s 24‑year‑old Maghnes Akliouche, whom they describe as a realistic possibility. Reported fee estimates range from €50 million to €60 million (£42‑£51 million), considerably lower than the roughly £125 million expected for Paris Saint‑Germain’s Bradley Barcola.
Liverpool’s own correspondent James Pearce said the player is being assessed alongside other targets and that the club has not yet placed a formal bid. However, Akliouche is believed to prefer a move to PSG, where an agreement with the club is reportedly underway. The Reds could view the Monaco winger as a value‑for‑money alternative that would free resources for other squad needs.
