Liverpool eyes Norway winger Antonio Nusa as transfer target after Diomande chooses PSG

Liverpool’s pursuit of a new winger continues after Ivorian forward Yan Diomande opted to join Paris Saint‑Germain instead of Anfield. The club’s attention has shifted to RB Leipzig teammate Antonio Nusa, a 21‑year‑old Norwegian who impressed at the 2026 World Cup by scoring and creating several chances.

Leipzig are reportedly preparing a major sale this summer to balance their finances. The club’s statement said, “The club's current stance is not based on an urgent need to sell the player,” yet added that they are “very open to negotiations if a suitable financial offer is received.” Reported asking prices for Nusa range from €50 million to €60 million, with market value estimated around €32 million. Liverpool, who finished fifth in the Premier League, are looking for a versatile attacker to bolster their attack alongside existing forwards.
