Liverpool faces contract crossroads for midfielders Endo and Jones

Liverpool is weighing its options on two key midfielders as their contracts near expiry. Wataru Endo, the 33‑year‑old Japanese defensive midfielder, is in the final year of his deal and could command only a modest fee. His playing time has been limited by injuries, and while he offers versatility, the club may keep him to provide depth.

Curtis Jones, 25, also approaches the end of his contract that runs to 2027. Inter Milan have expressed interest but have not met Liverpool’s €40 million valuation, and other clubs such as Galatasaray, Juventus and Nottingham Forest have been linked with the player. A failed bid from Inter could increase the likelihood that Jones remains at Anfield.
