Liverpool FC faces injury concerns and kit leaks

Liverpool FC midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai continues to miss training sessions at the Kirkby training center due to a recurring hamstring injury. The 26-year-old has missed three consecutive matches, including recent fixtures against Manchester City and Villarreal. While manager Iraola expressed cautious optimism regarding player availability for the upcoming match against Arsenal, some reports suggest Szoboszlai may remain sidelined.

In kit news, leaks regarding Liverpool’s 2027/2028 season apparel suggest a significant visual update. The new Adidas collection is expected to feature a checkered pattern on the home red jersey, potentially paying homage to the checkered flags at the Anfield Kop. Additionally, Turkish Airlines is reported to be replacing Standard Chartered as the club’s primary shirt sponsor. The leaked designs also include a black away kit with grey rhombus patterns and a white third kit featuring lime-green accents.
