Liverpool FC legends meet fans in Jakarta

Liverpool FC legends Sami Hyypiä and Natasha Dowie met with fans in Jakarta, Indonesia, during an ‘LFC Legends Meet & Greet’ event. The gathering took place at the official Liverpool store in Pondok Indah Mall 2, South Jakarta.

Hyypiä, a former defender who played for the club from 1999 to 2009, expressed surprise at the scale of the club’s following in the region, noting that there are approximately 31 million Liverpool fans in Indonesia. This visit to Jakarta followed a grand opening event for an LFC store in Bali.

During the event, fans had the opportunity to queue for photographs and autographs. Natasha Dowie, an LFC Women’s Ambassador, joined Hyypiä to interact with the local supporter community as part of the club's efforts to strengthen ties with its Indonesian fanbase.
