Liverpool interested in Eintracht Frankfurt prospect Niko Iličević

Liverpool has joined a growing list of major European clubs monitoring Eintracht Frankfurt’s 15-year-old attacking midfielder, Niko Iličević. The left-footed playmaker has attracted significant interest due to his impressive performances in youth competitions, including the UEFA Youth League.

In addition to Liverpool and Bournemouth, several elite clubs are reportedly tracking the German youth international, including Manchester City, Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan, and Inter Milan. Iličević has demonstrated high productivity this season, recording three goals and three assists in six youth games, and recently scored twice for Germany’s under-17 side.

Eintracht Frankfurt aims to retain the player and integrate him into their senior squad. Iličević is currently under contract with Frankfurt until 2029 and is expected to sign a professional contract when he turns 16 later this month. While interest from top-tier clubs is high, reports suggest that major teams are currently tracking his development rather than preparing imminent bids.
