Liverpool interested in Fiorentina midfielder Cher Ndour

Liverpool is reportedly monitoring Fiorentina midfielder Cher Ndour as part of their long-term recruitment planning, with potential moves being considered as far ahead as 2027. The 22-year-old Italy international has attracted significant interest from several Premier League clubs, including Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Newcastle United, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Hull City.

Ndour, who joined Fiorentina after leaving Paris Saint-Germain, has gained diverse experience playing in Serie A, Ligue 1, the Portuguese top flight, and Turkey. At Fiorentina, he has made 62 appearances, scoring eight goals and providing three assists. His versatility in midfield makes him an attractive prospect for clubs looking to bolster their squads; Liverpool views him as potential competition for Alexis Mac Allister, while Aston Villa seeks successors for veteran players like John McGinn.

Fiorentina is in a strong negotiating position due to the high level of interest from English clubs. While no immediate deal is expected, Ndour’s recent debut for the Italian senior national team has further increased his market value.
