Liverpool interested in Valencia winger David Otorbi

Liverpool has reportedly informed Valencia of its intention to trigger the £25m (€30m) release clause for 19-year-old winger David Otorbi. The English club is seeking attacking reinforcements, specifically looking for right-wing options.

In response to the interest, Valencia has taken swift action to protect the player. The Spanish club activated a three-year contract extension for Otorbi, which effectively doubled his release clause to approximately £50m (€60m).

Otorbi, a Spain U18 international, made his senior debut for Valencia in early 2024 and has since become a notable prospect due to his pace and direct playing style. While Liverpool has expressed formal interest, Newcastle United has also been linked to the player.
