Liverpool John Lennon Airport sees 16‑hour Ryanair delay, 150 passengers stranded

Ryanair flight FR6359 from Krakow to Liverpool John Lennon Airport, scheduled to depart at 08:55 am on 3 August, was delayed after a minor technical issue required a replacement aircraft. The new estimated departure time was 00:35 am on 4 August, leaving roughly 150 passengers waiting at Krakow Airport for more than ten hours. Passengers were offered a 17 PLN voucher for refreshments and were informed that the delay was caused by the technical problem. One passenger, Marcin Tkaczyk, described the situation as frustrating, noting the lack of on‑site assistance and the long wait.

The delay meant that travelers expected to arrive in Liverpool around 10:40 am were instead facing an overnight arrival, disrupting weekend plans and causing inconvenience for those without children.
