Liverpool linked to free agent Dani Carvajal
Liverpool FC has been linked to veteran Spanish defender Dani Carvajal as a potential free-agent signing. Following the closure of the primary European transfer windows, Carvajal remains available to join a new club because he is currently without a contract.
Former Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott suggested on TNT Sports that Liverpool is among the clubs being discussed in connection with the 34-year-old. Carvajal, who won six Champions League titles during his tenure at Real Madrid, could provide defensive experience and leadership to the Liverpool squad.
The potential move is viewed as a short-term solution to bolster the right-back position, providing cover alongside existing options such as Jeremie Frimpong and Conor Bradley.
