Liverpool's €100m bid for Yan Diomande turned down by RB Leipzig

Liverpool have submitted a bid of roughly €100 million (about €90 million fixed plus €10 million in bonuses) to RB Leipzig for 19‑year‑old Ivorian winger Yan Diomande. Leipzig rejected the offer, stating they will only consider a fee of €120 million or more to part with the player.

The club remains the frontrunner in a race that also includes Paris Saint‑Germain, with both sides waiting for Diomande’s decision after his standout World Cup performance – he scored the decisive goal in Ivory Coast’s 1‑0 win over Ecuador and recorded 12 goals and nine assists in the Bundesliga season. Liverpool have already completed the signing of Victor Muñoz from Osasuna and have prepared a shortlist of alternative targets such as Yankuba Minteh, Said El Mala and Matías Fernández‑Pardo should the Diomande deal fall through.
