Liverpool ramps up summer signings under new manager Iraola

Premier League club Liverpool has moved quickly in Andoni Iraola’s first transfer window. The Spaniard’s inaugural signing is 22‑year‑old winger Victor Munoz, completed after a medical in Tennessee and a six‑year contract. Liverpool will pay the fee in two instalments, with half of the amount due to Real Madrid, the player’s previous seller.

The club is already targeting additional midfield reinforcements. Reports say Liverpool have indicated a willingness to meet a roughly £87 million valuation for Ivory‑Coast international Yan Diomande, while 18‑year‑old Moroccan midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi has also entered advanced talks. Both players attracted interest from other top European clubs. Rumours also link Liverpool with French midfielder Khephren Thuram and Inter Milan’s pursuit of Curtis Jones, highlighting a broader strategy to rebuild the squad after a disappointing season.

Iraola’s early activity shows Liverpool’s intent to reshape the team ahead of the 2026‑27 campaign, competing with rivals such as Manchester United for key targets.
