Liverpool rolls out £60m kit deal and squad rebuild under new manager Andoni Iraola
Liverpool has begun a major summer overhaul following the appointment of Andoni Iraola as manager. The club is preparing to sell several first‑team players, with reports that a €20 million fee is being sought for forward Federico Chiesa as part of the rebuild.
At the same time, Liverpool is investing £20 million in renovating its Kirkby Academy and has launched an aggressive youth‑recruitment drive, adding prospects such as Mor Talla Ndiaye and targeting talents like Samuel Martinez. The Academy has generated over £200 million from player sales in recent years, and the new facilities aim to sustain that pipeline.
In partnership with Adidas, Liverpool secured a £60 million kit agreement that introduces a new home shirt, pre‑match and training kits, and special edition ranges. The deal places Liverpool among an elite group of clubs with exclusive pre‑match apparel, further boosting revenue and global brand visibility.
