Liverpool boosts attack with youth prospects and new signings under Andoni Iraola

Liverpool FC, now led by manager Andoni Iraola, is reshaping its attacking options ahead of the 2026‑27 season. The club plans to give academy graduate Rio Ngumoha, 17, a larger role after BBC Sport reported he is "set to play a more prominent role" under the new coach.

In the summer transfer window Liverpool completed the surprise signing of 22‑year‑old Spanish winger Victor Munoz from Osasuna. Analysts noted his 190 dribble attempts last season placed him alongside La Liga stars Lamine Yamal and Vinicius Jr., and he is expected to rotate with Ngumoha on the flanks.

The club is also linked with teenage talents Yan Diomande, a 19‑year‑old winger from RB Leipzig whose €100 million bid was reportedly turned down, and Ayyoub Bouaddi, an 18‑year‑old midfielder who impressed for Morocco at the World Cup.
