Liverpool table €120 million bid for RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande
Liverpool have submitted a bid of around €120 million for 19‑year‑old Ivory Coast winger Yan Diomande, who currently plays for RB Leipzig. The Premier League club view Diomande as a potential successor to Mohamed Salah and aim to secure his services before the summer transfer window opens.
Diomande impressed in his breakthrough season with 13 goals and 10 assists across all competitions, helping Leipzig qualify for the Champions League. He told German outlet Kicker that he would “stay” at Leipzig next season, but Liverpool’s offer challenges the club’s willingness to sell. German side Leipzig are reportedly prepared to extend a new contract to retain the player, while French champions Paris Saint‑Germain are also monitoring the situation.
If the deal proceeds, Diomande would join a Liverpool side seeking to maintain its attacking firepower after Salah’s impending departure, while Leipzig would lose one of its most promising young attackers.
