Liverpool overturn two-goal deficit to beat Villarreal 4-3

Liverpool secured their third consecutive victory in the UEFA Champions League league phase with a 4-3 comeback win against Villarreal at Anfield. The English side faced an early crisis after conceding two goals within the first 30 minutes, following a defensive error by Virgil van Dijk that allowed Georges Mikautadze to score, and a strike by Sergi Cardona.

Liverpool mounted a comeback in the first half, with Alexis Mac Allister pulling one back from a corner and Ronald Araujo equalizing just before the break. In the second half, Mac Allister scored his second of the night to take the lead, followed by a goal from Florian Wirtz to extend the advantage to 4-2. Despite a late goal from Villarreal's Tani Oluwaseyi, Liverpool held on for the win.

Eighteen-year-old Rio Ngumoha was a standout performer, providing three assists and earning player-of-the-match honors. The victory maintains Liverpool's perfect record in the competition this season.
