Liverpool FC secures new deals for Rio Ngumoha and Matty Wright

Liverpool FC is securing the futures of several key players through contract developments. Teenage winger Rio Ngumoha has reportedly agreed to a new long-term professional contract, choosing to remain at Anfield despite significant interest from Arsenal. The 18-year-old, who has already made numerous appearances for the senior team, is expected to receive improved terms that reflect his growing importance to the squad.

In the goalkeeping department, 18-year-old Matty Wright has signed a full professional contract after impressing with the Under-18 side. This move is part of the club’s broader succession planning. Meanwhile, the club faces a strategic decision regarding Alisson Becker; while the Brazilian's current deal expires next summer, any potential extension could impact the future plans of Giorgi Mamardashvili, who may seek more regular playing time if Alisson remains the primary choice.
