Liverpool to sign Saint-Etienne striker Djylian N’Guessan

Liverpool FC has reached an agreement to sign 18-year-old French striker Djylian N’Guessan from AS Saint-Etienne. The transfer is reportedly valued at approximately 7.5 million euros.

N’Guessan, a France U20 international who can play as both a centre-forward and a winger, is expected to officially join Liverpool in January. Although Saint-Etienne recently secured a new contract with the player to prevent a free transfer, the deal is moving forward.

To facilitate the transition, N’Guessan will remain at his current club on loan at Stade Brestois for the remainder of the current season. His immediate arrival at Liverpool in mid-season may depend on the club's capacity for overseas loans.
