Andoni Iraola held his inaugural press conference as Liverpool’s new head coach, expressing optimism and noting the club’s need for an attacking, high‑pressing style. He praised midfielder Curtis Jones, saying “I rate Curtis very highly. For me he is a great player… It’s very important he’s Scouse, that he’s from here,” and pledged to keep him at Anfield.
