Liverpool Women sign Slovenian defender Sara Agrez from Cologne

Liverpool FC Women have completed the signing of 25‑year‑old Slovenian centre‑back Sara Agrez from German club FC Cologne. The defender, who will wear the No. 23 shirt, joins the Barclays Women’s Super League after more than seven years playing in Germany’s top tier. She said the club’s history and the conversation with head coach Gareth Taylor convinced her to move, adding that her family have long supported Liverpool.
