LiveStay begins construction on Punthill Oakleigh Central

LiveStay has commenced construction on Punthill Oakleigh Central, a new 55-key apartment hotel located at 45–49 Portman Street in Oakleigh. Demolition works are currently underway, with the project expected to open in 2028.

Developed by BNG Group and constructed by Jardon Group, the property will feature 38 studios, 14 one-bedroom apartments, and three two-bedroom apartments. The facility is designed to accommodate both short and extended stays and will include amenities such as a gym, conference room, guest laundry, and car parking. DDA-accessible rooms will also be available.

The development is part of LiveStay’s strategy to expand its Punthill portfolio in areas with high demand from corporate and project guests. The site is situated near the Monash National Employment and Innovation Cluster (MNEIC), Monash University, Monash Medical Centre, and the Victorian Heart Hospital.
