LiveWire Group's Q2 earnings lift stock above $1, up 120%
LiveWire Group, the electric‑motorcycle subsidiary of Harley‑Davidson, reported second‑quarter 2026 results on July 23. Revenue rose 55% to $9.1 million, driven by a 386% jump in electric‑motorcycle sales to 267 units and a 7% increase in STACYC children’s e‑vehicles. The company claimed a 76% share of the U.S. market for electric motorcycles above 50 kW. Following the earnings release, LiveWire’s shares surged more than 120% in five trading sessions, climbing above the $1 threshold and closing at $1.46. On the next trading day the stock experienced an unusually high volume spike, with about 10.8 million shares changing hands – a 559% increase over the prior session. Analysts continue to rate the stock as a sell, but institutional investors such as UBS Group AG and Vanguard Group Inc. have increased their holdings.
