Livia Brito pays 1.23 million pesos indemnization to photographer Ernesto Zepeda

Actress Livia Brito covered the entire civil judgment of 1,230,000 Mexican pesos awarded to photographer Ernesto Zepeda for injuries and equipment damage sustained during a 2020 assault on a beach in Cancún, Quintana Roo. The judgment also named her former partner Mariano Martínez, but Brito assumed his share, and Martínez made no payment. The civil case is now closed, but both Brito and Martínez remain subject to a criminal investigation for alleged falsity of statements related to the incident and for the denial of an amparo request.
