Living Faith Church unveils 109,000-seat Ark auditorium in Nigeria

Bishop David Oyedepo, the Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, has unveiled ‘The Ark’, a massive new auditorium located at Canaanland in Ota, Ogun State. Describing the facility as a ‘global amazement’, Oyedepo detailed its extensive infrastructure, noting that the building features 109,000 individual seats, 126 escalators, 29 elevators, and 20 chillers to manage the central air conditioning.

During the 2026 Annual Youth Alive Convention, Oyedepo stated that the project was completed without financial strain on the congregation or the need for special offerings. He asserted that the facility has no outstanding debt and that tithes and offerings are instead directed toward welfare programs that support approximately 2,000 people weekly.

The scale of the investment has drawn mixed reactions on social media, with some observers expressing awe at the architectural feat while others have questioned the necessity and cost of such a large-scale worship center within the Nigerian context.
