Livingston Parish Arrests Two Residents for Animal Abuse

The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office, assisted by the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, arrested two Denham Springs residents after an investigation into alleged animal sexual abuse. The suspects, 31‑year‑old Johnny Wolinski and 31‑year‑old Sammie Sparks, were identified through search warrants on their cell phones.

Wolinski faces three felony counts: sexual abuse of an animal by coercing another person, organizing or participating in the abuse, and filming or possessing images of the abuse. Sparks faces two felony counts: sexual abuse of an animal by organizing or participating in the abuse and engaging in the abuse. Both men are being held at the Livingston Parish Detention Center, and the animal involved has since died of unrelated causes. The investigation remains active.
