Livio Gutiérrez, President of Nuevo Banco del Chaco, Hospitalized After Accident

Livio Gutiérrez, president of the Nuevo Banco del Chaco, remains hospitalized in Resistencia following a serious multi-vehicle traffic accident on National Route 89. The incident occurred on Friday night near Corzuela involving three vehicles.

Gutiérrez sustained a head injury, chest trauma, and rib fractures. After being stabilized at a local hospital, he was transferred to the Hospital Julio C. Perrando in Resistencia, where he is currently in hemodynamically stable condition. Medical reports indicate a small pleural effusion and a contusion in the left chest area.

Chaco Governor Leandro Zdero expressed optimism regarding the recovery, stating, «Confiamos y tenemos expectativas y fe de que, con esa fuerza que tiene, va a salir adelante» ("We trust and have expectations and faith that, with the strength he has, he will pull through"). Police are conducting investigations to determine the circumstances of the collision.
