Livno courts confirm indictments in two separate criminal cases

The Cantonal Court in Livno has confirmed an indictment against an individual, identified as I. B., for sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 15. The prosecution alleges that during the second half of August 2025, in the municipality of T., the accused used threats to coerce a minor into sexual acts, resulting in negative psychological consequences for the child. Under the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the offense carries a minimum prison sentence of three years.

Separately, the Municipal Court in Livno confirmed an indictment against R. V. for domestic violence. The accused is alleged to have physically attacked his mother on September 29, 2024, causing severe injuries, including a hip fracture. The prosecution noted that the defendant was in an unaccountable state due to a severe and permanent mental illness at the time of the incident. R. V. has been in custody since the attack, and a hearing regarding a plea is scheduled for November 13, 2026.
