Livno entrepreneur returns from Germany to launch local businesses

Vilim Rubić, a resident of Livno, has successfully transitioned from working in Germany to establishing multiple businesses in his hometown after more than a decade abroad. Having previously worked at Frankfurt Airport, Rubić now operates an agency in Livno that recruits and prepares workers from Bosnia and Herzegovina for positions at the same German airport.

Additionally, Rubić and his wife opened ‘Kula’, a family-run restaurant specializing in ćevapi, named after a local symbol of Livno. His wife, who gained hospitality experience in Germany, manages much of the kitchen operations. Rubić credits his success to the discipline and organizational skills he acquired while living in Germany, noting that the return to Bosnia has allowed him to be closer to his family.
