Livno farmer expands family agricultural business to 230 hectares

Božo Dolić, a 26-year-old farmer from Livno, has returned to Bosnia and Herzegovina after working in Germany for three years to expand his family's agricultural business. Over the last four years, Dolić has grown the farm from approximately 20 hectares to 230 hectares.

The farm primarily produces silage corn and soy, with additional production of hay and roll bales. Dolić and his father manage the operations by combining traditional mechanical experience with modern agricultural technologies to increase efficiency.

Despite the expansion, the farm faces challenges due to drought, which is estimated to reduce this year's yield by approximately 20 percent compared to the previous year. The farm focuses on soil quality through regular analysis and fertilizers, supplying products to the Bosnian market, including customers such as the Marena farm in Posušje.
