Livno Student Charged After Threatening Teacher Over Cheating Incident

A 19‑year‑old student identified as A. L. was charged by the Livno municipal court for threatening his teacher after being caught cheating on a remedial exam. The incident occurred on 9 June 2026 in the accounting classroom of the local secondary school, where the student used a mobile phone to copy answers. When the teacher, J. Z., confiscated the paper and ordered the student to leave, the pupil responded with the threat “Stući ću ti glavu,” causing the teacher to feel fear for his safety.

The court sentenced A. L. to a conditional six‑month imprisonment for endangering another’s safety. A hearing is scheduled for 27 August 2026 to consider the final verdict.
