Livorno Family Pastoral Office announces 2026/27 initiatives

The Family Pastoral Office has announced its initiatives for the 2026/27 pastoral year, focusing on training and fostering community among couples preparing for marriage and families seeking sacraments.

Starting in September, the program includes training sessions for catechists involved in baptisms and marriage preparation. A three-stage educational path will be offered for parents and godparents, alongside diocesan catechesis for families of middle school students. Specific spiritual appointments are scheduled for engaged couples, including a blessing on December 8 and celebrations on February 14.

New features for the upcoming year include spiritual and psychological support meetings for both couples and singles. Additionally, a specific path titled ‘Percorsi di Luce’ will be offered for divorced individuals and those remarried, aiming to provide a space for reflection and reconciliation.
