Italy municipal projects: urban regeneration and lighting upgrades

Various municipal urban redevelopment and infrastructure projects are underway across different Italian locations.

In Alba Adriatica, the municipal council has approved an executive project for the regeneration of Piazza del Popolo. The project, valued at 2.5 million euros, will be funded through 1.5 million euros in non-repayable grants and 1 million euros via a loan. This follows local debate regarding parking arrangements.

In Livorno, the Smart City and Public Lighting office is implementing improvements in the Piazza Attias area. The project involves installing LED wall projectors on the south perimeter of the Coin building and replacing lighting along pedestrian walkways to enhance safety and decorum. Additionally, Mayor Luca Salvetti announced that the lighting project for Viale Mameli will proceed with modifications to ensure it does not interfere with local trees, following technical assessments by an agronomist.
