Livorno launches annual museum subscription card

The Municipality of Livorno has launched the ‘Carta dei Musei’, a new annual subscription providing unlimited access to the Museo della Città and the Museo Civico ‘Giovanni Fattori’ during their respective opening hours.

The subscription is valid for 365 days from the date of purchase. The standard rate is 30 euros, with a reduced rate of 25 euros available for individuals over 65 and members of affiliated categories. Culture Councilor Angela Rafanelli stated that the initiative is intended to encourage citizens to ‘inhabit’ rather than just visit the museums.

To coincide with the 201st anniversary of Giovanni Fattori's birth on September 6, a promotional period will run from Friday, September 4, to Sunday, September 6. During this window, the full rate will be 25 euros and the reduced rate will be 20 euros. The card is nominative and requires a valid identity document for entry.
