Livorno launches 'Nuove Rotte' economic and labor initiative

The Municipality of Livorno, in collaboration with Anci Toscana, has introduced 'Livorno Nuove Rotte' (Livorno New Routes). This initiative establishes the 'Stati Generali dell'Economia e del Lavoro' (General Estates of Economy and Labor) to create a shared vision for the city's development by leveraging local expertise and resources.

The program aims to transform stakeholder dialogue into concrete administrative programming. Key focus areas include the maritime economy, logistics, innovative industry, and new production chains. The initiative will also address challenges regarding digital transition, artificial intelligence, and the necessity of skill reinforcement.

Scheduled events include an initial presentation on November 5, followed by a dedicated 'Stati Generali' day on December 17. This session will involve data analysis, scenario planning, and working groups to establish priorities for the city's future, focusing on economic growth that fosters quality employment, youth opportunities, and social inclusion.
