Livorno man reported for killing snake after social media post

A 51-year-old man in the province of Livorno has been reported to judicial authorities after being identified as the person who killed a snake. The investigation by the Carabinieri Forestali was triggered by a photograph of the dead animal posted on social media.

The deceased animal was identified as a Natrix helvetica, commonly known as a grass snake. The man faces charges related to the killing of animals following the investigation into the social media post.
