Livorno to Host 2026 Festa dell'Unità Marking 80 Years of Democracy

The Democratic Party in Livorno has announced the programme for the 2026 Festa dell'Unità, scheduled from 10 to 19 July. The event will feature a series of debates, presentations and cultural performances that address topics such as peace, human rights, welfare, public health, housing, employment, education, industrial policy, security, culture, the energy transition, the port, artificial intelligence, taxation, women’s role and the future of the centre‑left.

Key participants include local and national officials such as Labour Secretary Alberto Brilli, Women’s Democratic Secretary Silvia Ghelardi, Youth Democratic Secretary Matteo Anglano, Mayor Luca Salvetti, regional health president Mia Diop, and journalist Arturo Scotto, among others. Each evening will also offer concerts, DJ sets, theatre and family‑friendly activities.
