Liz Carmouche and Jena Bishop to fight for inaugural PFL flyweight title

Liz Carmouche and Jena Bishop will compete in a rematch to crown the inaugural Professional Fighters League (PFL) women’s flyweight champion. The event is scheduled for October 16 at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago.

The matchup follows a previous tournament final where Carmouche defeated Bishop via a third-round TKO. The PFL pivoted to this championship bout after flyweight star Dakota Ditcheva sustained a hand injury.

Both fighters enter the rematch following recent successes. Carmouche secured a second-round guillotine choke submission against Viviane Araujo in San Diego, while Bishop earned a first-round armbar submission victory over Ariane Lipski da Silva.
