Lizy Tagliani discusses gender identity and motherhood

Argentine television host Lizy Tagliani shared details regarding her relationship with her son, Tati, during an appearance on the program ‘PH, Podemos hablar’. Tagliani described a profound conversation with her son after he questioned her gender identity, asking, ‘Mom, you are a man.’

Tagliani explained to her son that while she was born male, she transitioned to find complete happiness. She used the metaphor of a butterfly to describe her journey of wanting to live and build a family as a woman. She noted that Tati is aware of his adoption story and that she holds definitive custody of him, having built a family alongside her partner, Sebastián Nebot.
