Lizzo celebrates Fat Liberation Month in Yitty Swimwear

Singer Lizzo celebrated “Fat Liberation Month” on August 9 by sharing photos on Instagram wearing a sparkly purple string bikini from her Yitty Swim line. The musician used the post to encourage confidence, captioning the image with, “Happy Fat Liberation Month 💕 calling all my ladies over 200 go outside n POP sumthin🙏🏾.”

Lizzo’s Yitty brand focuses on inclusive sizing, with its Shaping Swim collection offering more than 25 styles ranging from XS to 6X. The singer has previously stated that her goal with Yitty is to create products that improve how people feel about themselves. Lizzo is also scheduled to appear as the July 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model.
