Lizzy Anjorin issues cease-and-desist notices to over 100 social media personalities

Nollywood actress and businesswoman Lizzy Anjorin-Lawal has issued cease-and-desist notices to over 100 bloggers, vloggers, and social media personalities, including actress Iyabo Ojo and her daughter, Priscilla Ojo. The legal notices, dated October 3, 2026, allege defamation, libel, and cyberbullying.

Anjorin’s legal team demands the immediate removal of disputed content, public retractions, and apologies. They have issued a seven-day ultimatum, warning that failure to comply could result in legal action seeking N50 million in damages from each affected individual or platform. The lawyers claim the disputed publications were used to generate revenue while damaging Anjorin’s reputation and commercial interests.

In a separate development, Fola Tinubu, the former wife of Anjorin’s husband, has publicly addressed her own experiences. Tinubu alleged she faced years of bullying, threats, and emotional distress following the 2020 marriage. She also claimed Anjorin questioned the paternity of her children and stated she would continue to pursue justice through legal channels.
