Ljubljana opens Kosovel exhibition at Cankarjev dom

The exhibition ‘Kozmos Kosovel’ opened at the Cankarjev dom Gallery in Ljubljana on September 16, 2026. The exhibition is dedicated to the poet and thinker Srečko Kosovel and was organized to mark the centenary of his death.

Developed in collaboration with the National and University Library and students from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design at the University of Ljubljana, the display features original manuscripts, personal items, documentary materials, and early publications. The exhibition is structured into four thematic chapters: Slovenian, Modern, European, and Eternal, aiming to place Kosovel’s intellectual legacy in dialogue with the European artistic space of his era. The installation includes interactive elements, soundscapes, and multimedia content and will remain open to the public until May 9 of next year.
