Ljubljana road closures announced for Arraiolos Group summit

Ljubljana will implement significant traffic restrictions on Thursday and Friday due to a meeting of the Arraiolos Group, hosted by Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar. The gathering will include 12 EU heads of state.

Police have announced various partial and full road closures. On Thursday, between 15:00 and 23:00, roads near the Presidential Palace, including Prešernova cesta and Gregorčičeva ulica, will be completely closed, with parking restrictions in effect. Partial closures will also affect the area around the Grand Plaza hotel.

From Thursday at 10:00 until Friday at 10:00, several other partial closures will be in place. This includes a partial closure of Slovenske cesta, where traffic will be directed one-way from Dunajska towards Aškerčeva cesta. Drivers are warned of potential short-term delays caused by the movement of protected motorcades. The summit activities will include a formal dinner at the Presidential Palace and a full day of meetings at Brdo pri Kranju on Friday.
