Ljubuški region honored in new musical ballad ‘Zemlja roda Hercegova’

A new musical ballad titled ‘Zemlja roda Hercegova’ has been released, serving as an ode to the Ljubuški region and the heritage of Herzegovina. The project was inspired by the vision of Professor Bože Skoka, who sought to create a contemporary song that reflects the identity of his birthplace.

The lyrics were written by poet Iva Čuvalo, focusing on themes of pride, prayer, and the natural beauty of the landscape, including its mountains and fields. The composition was created by award-winning composer Slavko Nedić, who drew inspiration from the rivers and ancient walls of the Ljubuški area.
