Ljupcho Prendzov questions opposition over interpellation debate
Member of Parliament Ljupcho Prendzov has questioned the credibility of the interpellation regarding Minister Sanja Bozhinovska. He noted the low number of registered speakers and the absence of leading opposition representatives during the debate.
While acknowledging the opposition's democratic right to demand accountability from government officials, Prendzov argued that the seriousness of an interpellation is demonstrated by the engagement of those submitting it. He pointed out that key party figures and the SDSM parliamentary group coordinator did not participate in the discussion.
Regarding energy costs, Prendzov stated that there has been no electricity price increase during the current government's mandate, contrasting this with a 42.7 percent increase during the previous administration's two-year term. He called for future interpellations to be supported by substantive arguments and concrete questions.
