LL Cool J returns as Sam Hanna in NCIS: New York

LL Cool J is returning to the NCIS universe as Special Agent Sam Hanna in the upcoming CBS spinoff, ‘NCIS: New York’. The series follows Hanna, a character originally from ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’, as he returns to his hometown to lead a new team tasked with protecting New York City and its vital port.

Sam Hanna will be paired with Special Agent Nick Schaeffer, played by Scott Caan. The cast also includes Jennifer Beals as Assistant Special Agent-in-Charge Robyn Wells, alongside series regulars Jacqueline Byers, Shane Harper, and Devin Druid. The series premiere will focus on Hanna investigating the death of a friend, Navy reservist Jack Halloway.

Produced by CBS Studios, the show is set to premiere on October 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS and will be available for streaming on Paramount+.
