LL COOL J returns as Sam Hanna in NCIS: New York

LL COOL J is reprising his role as veteran Special Agent Sam Hanna in the CBS spin-off ‘NCIS: New York’. The series brings the character, originally introduced in ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ in 2009, back to his hometown to investigate the death of a Navy reservist.

In this new iteration, Sam Hanna is paired with a new partner, Nick Schaeffer, played by Scott Caan. The ensemble cast also includes Jennifer Beals as Assistant Special Agent-in-Charge Robyn Wells, along with Shane Harper, Jacqueline Byers, and Devin Druid.

During the show’s premiere at the Intrepid Museum, LL COOL J discussed his 17-year tenure with the character, noting that the role continues to offer new dimensions and surprises despite his long history with the franchise.
