LL Cool J to star in new NCIS: New York spin-off

The NCIS franchise is expanding with the upcoming series ‘NCIS: New York’, which is scheduled to debut on October 6 at 9 p.m. on CBS and Paramount+.

LL Cool J reprises his role as Special Agent Sam Hanna from ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’. In this new iteration, Hanna returns to his hometown of New York City to work with a new team tasked with high-stakes missions to protect the city and its ports. He is paired with Nick Schaeffer, played by Scott Caan, a character described as a roguish agent. The team is led by Robyn Wells, portrayed by Jennifer Beals.

Supporting cast members include Jacqueline Byers as Special Agent Addy Ross, Shane Harper as Special Agent Wyatt Sellers, and Devin Druid as tech expert Sean Sullivan. The series is executive produced by R. Scott Gemmill, who previously served as showrunner for ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’.
