L.L.Bean reinstates 24-hour shopping at Freeport flagship store

L.L.Bean has officially returned its flagship store in Freeport, Maine, to 24-hour shopping operations. To mark the conclusion of a six-week grand opening celebration, the retailer is hosting a free concert featuring the Grammy-winning rock band The Wallflowers.

The event also includes a Boston Red Sox-themed experience, featuring a Red Sox legend, batting cages, and pitching stations. The return to round-the-clock service revives a long-standing tradition for the brand, referencing a 1951 declaration by founder Leon Leonwood Bean regarding the store's accessibility.
