Lleida CF wins Antoni Palau Memorial with 5-1 victory

Lleida CF secured a 5-1 victory against Torrefarrera during the inaugural Antoni Palau Memorial. The match, held at the local sports complex, served as a tribute to the legendary player known as ‘O Rei’ Palau, nine years after his passing.

Approximately 1,000 spectators attended the event, which brought together numerous former players and legends of Unió Esportiva Lleida to honor Palau’s legacy. Notable attendees included Miguel Rubio, Mauro Ravnic, and Lluís Elcacho, among others.

In the match, Adri Fernández opened the scoring with a volley in the 35th minute. Following a halftime lead of 1-0, Lleida CF extended their advantage through goals from Joan Sabaté (58’), Adri (81’), Xavi Martínez (86’), and Adri again (87’).
